The goal for the interior was to create a calm, simple and creative workspace that allows all the support staff to work comfortably in one space.

With Comma-Q Architecture

The Community Food Co-op is an independent community-owned grocery store located on West Main ST in Bozeman MT.  In 2019 the store was updated and an addition was added to nearly double the size.  Eleven Eleven design studio was hired by Comma-Q Architecture to assist in the selection of finishes & furniture for the second floor which houses all the Co-ops offices and meeting rooms.  The goal for the interior was to create a calm, simple and creative workspace that allows all the support staff to work comfortably in one space.  The interior feels professional but has a warm, casual feel created through the use of carefully selected materials; natural concrete floors, carpeted areas have a dynamic carpet; mixing organic textures and colors borrowed from nature. Wood ceilings, walls and cabinets add warmth to the space.  The paint palate, pulled from the surrounding environment, includes a crisp white with accent colors of green, blue, orange and yellow.  At each entrance is an art wall made from recycled galvanized metal taken from the original building.  Furniture, integrates height adjustability with built in power & data at each workstation to support staff in an open office environment.
