with Comma-Q Architecture
Barnard Hall houses the departments of Physics & Computer Science at MSU. Working with Comma-Q Architecture, Eleven Eleven design studio assisted with finish selections and furniture specifications for the 3 main lobbies.
These lobbies were completely redesigned; transforming the dark dated interiors to fresh, bright, uplifting spaces; these in-between spaces were designed to be informal learning & collaborative work areas to meet the way students want to learn today. Selected furniture is comfortable as well as flexible allowing students to configure based on their needs.
Flexible power sources allow access to power for devices which promotes movement. Sofas with screens allow for privacy to get work done even when out in the open.
