Point Loma Residence

The goal was to honor the architecture; keeping the open exposed ceilings & open floor plan along with existing pieces such as cabinets & counter tops which were in good condition.

This modern home built in 1953, located in beautiful Point Loma in San Diego, CA was due for an update. Eleven Eleven design studio was hired to review the home to determine what elements should remain and what to update. The goal was to honor the architecture; keeping the open exposed ceilings & open floor plan along with existing pieces such as cabinets & counter tops which were in good condition. New finishes were selected including paint & flooring along with new lighting, appliances, furniture and window treatments to create a simple California ranch interior designed to be comfortable and easy to come home to.
